Fine Handcrafted Virginia Furniture
Taylor Made Reproductions is a privately owned furniture business located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We specialize in the construction of Early American furniture pieces. Our furniture can be painted, have a natural finish, or have a hand-rubbed finish consisting of paint, clear coat and wax, giving the piece an authentic antique appearance.
We use primarily white pine although walnut, cherry and mahogany can be used for a more formal look. We enjoy replicating "raised panel" mortised and tenoned furniture which Virginia is noted for.
Custom Orders
We welcome custom orders so please contact us with any pictures or ideas that you may have and we will get you a price quote. We feel that "colonial colors" are necessary for true reproductive qualities to be achieved. We use Old Village paints on our furniture. Please see their color chart to choose your favorite color.
